" The prettiest Sunday Afternoon
Drive in the World..."
Winston Churchill, 1943
You have found a piece of North American history
here in Niagara on the Lake. At Churchill’s Drive Bed
and Breakfast, we share the old and more recent worlds with
our guests. It is interesting to mention that we have named
the property after the comments Winston Churchill made when
visiting the town in the summer of 1943 - on the Niagara Parkway
route up to the Falls, he remarked that he thought "this
was the prettiest Sunday afternoon drive in the world".
We offer accommodation on a bed and breakfast
basis and there are three delightful rooms to choose from -
we look forward to welcoming you for your stay in the old town.
Quietly located by the lakeshore golf course you will find luxury
and heritage combined with a real sense of european ambience.
We provide the best quality beds/linens, fine furnishings, soft
decor and elegant fittings.
As well as a comfortable bed, a great breakfast
is really part of your visit and you can choose from a varied
menu prepared by the lady of the house. In the evening come
and enjoy a chat (English or French) over a glass of Ontario
wine before trying one of our recommendations for dinner - there's
lots of space and comfort during any season and your hosts,
Noel and Marina, will always ensure high standards and warm
hospitality.
The technicals are : central air conditioning,
free wifi internet, fridge/hot beverages facilities, cable TV
in games room, on site parking, and the best of all - our two
black labradors named Jimmy and Roxy.
