This landmark in the centre of Queen street is not Big Ben but is still rather typical of small English towns - the shops and cafes are picturesque and complement the cultural fame of the Shaw Festival which has a six month season.

The origins of loyalist Canada are celebrated by this edifice just four miles away set in wonderful parkland at the end of the famous Niagara Parkway.

Niagara River Bridge

This is the Lewiston Bridge which is the artery connecting New York state to Ontario - amazing views as you drive across.

Niagara Falls

The famous cascade of the Northern Hemisphere is an exceptional experience to hear and see and definetly one of the seven wonders.

Konzelman Winery

Herbert Konzelmann started the planting of his vinyard nearly thirty years ago. He chose the shore of Lake Ontario to have the advantage of this unique microclimate in the Niagara peninsula; also the 'terroire' is very special due to the glacial origins of the region. The result is an amazing range of fine grape which produces excellent Pinot Noir and Vidal - a visit which is only five minutes by car is a definite priority.

Vineyards in Fall

Did you know there are nearly sixty wine growers in the Niagara peninsula all producing ever more higher quality grape of amazing variety? Special tours arranged on request.
